    {Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Supreme Court ruled, on Thursday, that a number of texts contained in the Basic Law Equivalent to Arab and Foreign Academic Certificates and Degrees No. (20) of 2020 were unconstitutional
    And the court’s media stated in a statement, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, that “the Federal Court issued a decision on the case numbered 46 / Federal / 2020 and its units 50 and 51 / Federal / 2020 on 10/27/2021, stating that a number of texts contained in the Basic Law are unconstitutional. Equivalent to Arab and foreign academic certificates and degrees No. (20) for the year 2020.”
    He pointed out that "the court ruled unconstitutional the phrase (with special degrees mentioned in Article (2 / second / a) of the law).
    And she added, "The court ruled that the phrase (or embassies or cultural attachés) contained in paragraph (b) of item (Second) of Article (2) of the law was unconstitutional."
     
    The statement continued: "The court has ruled unconstitutional Paragraph (A) of Clause (Third) of Article (2) related to the authority of the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives to equalize certificates issued by the Parliamentary Development Institute."
     
    And he added: “With regard to the phrase (unless the period of obtaining it is the same as the period required to obtain certificates qualified to enter or train in those universities) mentioned in Paragraph (C) of Clause (Third) of Article (2) of the law, the Federal Court has ruled unconstitutional."
     
    He pointed out, "The court ruled unconstitutional Paragraph (D) of Item (Third) of Article (2) related to the authority of ministries and agencies to equalize certificates granted by their study institutes," noting: "The court also ruled unconstitutional Paragraph (e) of Clause (Third) of Article (2) related to the authority of universities and the Federal Service Council to equalize training certificates, and it also ruled unconstitutional item (Third) of Article (3) of the law related to limiting the equivalency and evaluation processes of certificates to the fulfillment of procedural aspects.
     
    He explained: "It also ruled unconstitutional Item (Third) of Article (5) of the law related to neglecting the condition of obtaining a secondary school certificate in the event of obtaining a university degree or a higher degree."
