, Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi confirmed that Iraq and France have strong relations at various levels linking the two countries.
This came during his meeting, today, Thursday, with the French ambassador to Iraq, Erpic Chevalier, to discuss a number of issues that would develop relations.
Al-Ghanimi said that the Republic of France was a pioneer in supporting Iraq during its war on terrorism and crime in its various forms, as well as exchanging experiences and information to serve common interests, calling for the intensification of this cooperation, especially in the security field.
For his part, the ambassador thanked and appreciated the minister for his great interest in developing work and raising the level of cooperation. Ended 29/h
