Iraq concludes a contract with an international company to drill oil wells
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Drilling Company signed on Friday a partnership contract and a joint submission agreement with Schlumberger International.
The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Basem Abdul Karim, said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that the contract includes providing support for the implementation of drilling and reclamation projects in a turnkey manner for the benefit of international companies operating Iraqi oil fields.
He pointed out that the international company transferred expertise and modern technology to develop the company's employees and upgrade the oil services sector in order to keep pace with the industrial development process in the field of oil and gas in the world, explaining the importance of cooperation with sober international companies to improve and develop performance, especially in the processes of developing and implementing drilling and reclamation.
