    {Political: Al Furat News} Today, Saturday, the US State Department issued a statement regarding the terrorist attack in Makhmum, renewing its support for the Iraqi security forces, including the Peshmerga.
    State Department spokesman Ned Price said his country expresses its "deep concern" about the continued escalation of ISIS attacks throughout Iraq.
    He expressed Washington's condolences to the families of the victims and the wounded in the attack in the Makhmour area, which killed 10 Peshmerga and three civilians. 
    Washington renewed its commitment to support the Iraqi security forces, including the Peshmerga.
    At dawn on Friday, an attack by ISIS gangs in Makhmour district resulted in the death of at least 13 people, including three family members and ten Peshmerga soldiers.
