{Local: Al-Furat News} The Ministry of Health indicated, today, Thursday, that the escalation of infections with Corona is an indication that the mutant "Omicron" has entered the country.
A member of the media team of the Ministry of Health, Muhammad Kamel Jassem, told {Euphrates News} that "the escalation of infections faster confirmed to us that Iraq entered the fourth epidemic wave," noting that "the ministry expects the pace of infections to accelerate due to the entry of the new mutant, especially after its entry to Dohuk and the announcement of health Karkh about him.
Jassim added: "It is not possible to know the size of the injuries that we will record at the peak, because the rate is rising and it cannot be predicted."
