The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers confirmed, through a statement received by the news agency, that "the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers is serious in dealing with these two important files, for the great services and sacrifices provided by the segments covered by the two laws in order to defend the homeland, and it has worked for a long time to coordinate Effort between it and the relevant official authorities to provide the privileges and benefits stipulated within the laws of the two institutions.
He explained that "the trend towards preparing a proposed project for the adoption of the two institutions, the establishment of vertical housing units to be distributed to those covered on the one hand, or coordination with the National Investment Authority, to grant them housing units within the Basmaya residential complex on the other hand, in order to end this vital file."
Al-Ghazi directed the formation of a joint working team between the two institutions for the purpose of providing the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with an integrated database that includes full data for those who did not receive the concessions for granting a plot of land or housing unit, for the purpose of boycotting it and working to unify it.
The meeting was attended by "The President of the Martyrs Foundation, Abdul Ilah Al-Naeli, the President of the Foundation for Political Prisoners, Hussein Ali Al-Sultani, the Director General of the Accounting Department at the Ministry of Finance, Sahar Hadi, and the Director-General of the State Real Estate Department, Rand Raad, in addition to representatives from the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Works and Municipalities."
