    [size=45]On Sunday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, referred to the role of the National Intelligence Service, in removing the specter of war from the region by taking the reins of mediation between the opponents.[/size]
    [size=45]This came in a speech delivered by Al-Kazemi, during a ceremony laying the foundation stone for the new administrative building at the headquarters of the National Intelligence Service, according to a statement.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Kazemi said, according to the statement, that "since 2016, infrastructures for Iraqi national security have been established in various relevant fields, and the intelligence service contributed to securing national security and facing major challenges with outstanding success, and with the efforts of the heroes of the device, Iraq succeeded in achieving many of the goals that were drawn To target large sources and heads of terrorist groups.”[/size]

    [size=45]He noted that "the intelligence service believes in cooperation and partnership with the various Iraqi security services, as establishing security locally, regionally and internationally is an integrative matter between those involved in strategic decision-making."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that "security today is no longer a narrow concept in its traditional sense, but rather has become a strategic vision and intensive work in various fields and arenas, and this is what prompts the intelligence apparatus to confront challenges and dangers, based on the level of threats and opportunities."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Kazemi stressed, "The intelligence service had a great role in dismantling terrorist organizations, especially ISIS, and killing and arresting dozens of its main leaders, which aborted all attempts to restore the organization's defeated strength with the help of the security forces from the heroic Iraqi army, the Counter-Terrorism Service, the Operations Command, the Popular Mobilization and the Peshmerga, As well as the National Security Agency and the intelligence of the Ministry of the Interior and other heroic categories.”[/size]
    [size=45]And Al-Kazemi stated, "The apparatus worked very effectively in confronting organized crime in all its forms, and in dismantling major networks outside Iraq," expressing his hope that "this new intelligence edifice, which laid its foundation stone today, will enhance the honorable national role of the cadres of the apparatus."[/size]
