The coordination framework holds a meeting to discuss the repercussions of the bombing of Erbil and the Al-Hanana meeting
Shafaq News/ On Sunday, a political source said that the coordination framework held a meeting at the home of the President of the Supreme Council, Hammam Hammoudi.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, that the meeting discusses the repercussions of the Iranian missile bombing on Erbil, in addition to the results of the meeting of the framework delegation with the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr in Al-Hanana.
On Sunday, an informed political source revealed new details about the meeting of Al-Hanana, which was held yesterday, pointing out that it did not last more than ten minutes, while the meeting of leaders coming from Baghdad with representatives of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, lasted for a few hours.
A delegation from the Sovereignty Alliance headed by Khamis al-Khanjar, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, and another from the coordination framework, headed by Hadi al-Amiri, leader of the Fatah Alliance, and head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh al-Fayyad, visited yesterday, Saturday, al-Hanana, "Sadr's residence" in Najaf governorate.
Shafaq News Agency learned that the meeting in Al-Hanana agreed to choose Riber Ahmed, the Kurdistan Democratic Party candidate, for the post of President of the Republic, according to an appropriate vision and the participation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the next government.
The source told Shafaq News that "the coming days will reveal many political changes, and other meetings are scheduled to be held in Baghdad to agree on choosing the new prime minister, as several names were put forward to fill the position, including (Jaafar al-Sadr) and former Prime Minister (Haider al-Abadi). and National Security Adviser (Qasim al-Araji).
According to the source's data, "Al-Abadi's chances of winning a second term decreased due to the opposition of the Kurds to him, and thus the chances of (Al-Sadr and Al-Araji) increased, but the inter-faith understandings remain in that."
Yesterday, Saturday, an informed political source disclosed Al-Sadr's rejection, a proposal from the coordination framework to merge with them and form the largest bloc in the Iraqi parliament that is tasked with forming the new federal government. The delegation of the framework stressed the need to form a larger Shiite bloc to agree and agree on the name of the next prime minister.
