Member of Parliament for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Suzan Mansour, said that Iran sought, through Iranian missile strikes on Erbil, to put pressure on the Kurdish parties in the issue of nominations for the post of President of the Republic.
Mansour stressed that the bombing of Erbil did not target Israeli sites, as Tehran claimed, but was part of Iranian pressure on the participants in the political process, stressing the need not to compromise the higher interests of the Kurdistan region to achieve small gains related to the distribution of positions.
