Haider Ali Sheikhan, a member of the House of Representatives for "Eqtdar Watan", confirmed, on Tuesday, that the House of Representatives is about to interrogate the Ministers of Finance and Trade during the next few days.
Sheikhan said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the House of Representatives, in its current session, is about to complete the file of interrogations, which will be initiated by the Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, and Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, against the background of several files."
He added that "there is a parliamentary move to dismiss a number of deputy ministers and directors working to complete the file of the reform process of state institutions."
Sheikhan pointed out that "there are several requests submitted by deputies to question a number of ministers inside the parliament," stressing that "Parliament in its current session, with the rise of independent deputies, is striking with an iron fist on the spoilers and holding them accountable in the parliament."
