The Kurdistan Regional Government announces providing Baghdad with statistics on Kurdistan's revenues and expenditures
Shafaq News/ The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Friday, that it had provided the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau with statistics on the region's financial revenues and expenditures within the framework of an attempt to settle differences and outstanding issues between the two sides.
Government spokesman Gutiar Adel said in a press conference held today after his participation in a forum for journalists in Erbil: We are continuing dialogues with the federal government, and a while ago, a delegation from the regional government visited the capital, Baghdad, stressing that these mutual visits between the two parties will continue.
He added that the Federal Office of Financial Supervision and the Office of Financial Supervision in the region continue their meetings, noting that "with regard to the revenues and expenditures of the regional government, the two sides have been provided with their statistics, and the preparation of their report will be completed in the near future."
