    MP called for Ibrahim Al-mutlaq Thursday, headed by House of
    representatives to vote on the draft general budget quickly, migrate
    differences while discussing the supplementary budget, stressing that
    the dispute between the Governments of Iraq and the Kurdistan region has
    delayed adoption of the budget.

    Al-mutlaq said at a news
    conference in the Parliament building and was attended by the Sumerian
    "news", "to ensure that the current stalemate, Parliament to vote
    immediately on the draft general budget and posting differences that
    negotiations failed to resolve pending discussion of supplementary
    budget."

    The "political standoff on the budget is limited to the
    narrow perspective each party's desire to achieve partisan and sectional
    interests to the detriment of the other."

    And Al-mutlaq was the
    "highlight of the hamper and delay to reckon now is the dispute between
    the Governments of Iraq and the Kurdistan region."

    He noted that
    "the territory demanding benefits oil companies operating therein, while
    the Central Government insists on the need to obtain payments all
    former territory of oil exports which were not handed over to the
    Government Treasury.

    He stressed that "political differences
    between the blocks were withdrawn and the effect on the general
    situation and party interests are dominant and advancing the interests
    of the citizen."

    And dozens of members of the sadrist Movement
    staged, Tuesday (23 February 2013), staged a sit-in in front of the
    green zone in central Baghdad, demanding the adoption of budget year
    2013, with liberal parliamentary block, accused Wednesday (February 27,
    2013), political parties put pressure on the public budget law to obtain
    additional material gains, indicating that the vote would be next week,
    as the sit-in Tuesday, "forcing" the leaders of the blocks on a meeting
    to agree on a budget.

    The Secretary-General warned the liberal
    parliamentary block Zia al-Asadi, delivering a stronger message if the
    budget is not adopted, accused unnamed parties of trying to delay
    approval to "bargaining or political gain."

    The House's decision
    was announced, Wednesday (27 February 2013), on the meeting of the
    parliamentary blocs headed by Parliament Speaker Osama Al-nujaifi to
    access the final version of the budget, adding that the meeting attended
    by Deputy Prime Minister Roz Nuri shawis as well as oil and Planning
    Minister as well as Minister of natural resources in Kurdistan.

    National Alliance and the Kurdistan blocs to intensify meetings to reach
    solutions on budget.
