    In the context of strengthening bilateral relations and extending bridges of cooperation between Iraq and other countries, the head of the Baghdad Investment Authority, the consulting engineer (Haider Al-Ansari) received this morning, Sunday 19/6/2022, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania in Iraq and his accompanying delegation, where Al-Ansari welcomed the delegation and expressed his thanks to them To visit the commission and open prospects for cooperation with it, he gave them a detailed explanation of the commission’s work and the role of investment and its current importance in the development, renaissance and reconstruction of the capital, Baghdad. general .

    The ambassador was briefed on the investment law, its advantages, guarantees, and the facilities it provides for investors and companies. The delegation also learned about the mechanism for Romanian companies to enter the Iraqi market, where they expressed their desire to implement various investment projects and the need to create new opportunities for them to employ their expertise and competence and align them with the experience of local owners and cadres. They also expressed their thanks and appreciation for the Commission's efforts and commended its achievements on the ground, hoping to get an opportunity in Baghdad to work in it and transfer their expertise to it and contribute to supporting the investment process and moving it for the better.

    Al-Ansari assured the delegation that the authority is fully prepared to provide full cooperation and support to them, and that its doors are open to all foreign companies to grant them the available facilities and in coordination with the sectoral authorities to overcome obstacles in front of them and support them in implementing their projects.
