[size=45]The Directorate of Clans Affairs in Al-Muthanna announced the formation of a clan alliance supported by the local government to resolve and encircle armed clan conflicts.[/size]
[size=45]The Director of Clans Affairs in Muthanna, Brigadier General Nasser Muhammad, said in an interview with Al-Mada that "this alliance, which consists of several large clans in the province and their masters, took upon itself to repel all clan tendencies and encircle them before the clash occurred." He added, "This coalition is supported by the local government in the province and the police leadership, which in turn also intervenes on the line directly in the event of clan conflicts and disputes."[/size]
[size=45]And he indicated, "The governor and the police chief are the ones who supervise this coalition and personally intervene in cases of any armed conflict."[/size]
[size=45]The southern governorates are constantly witnessing clan conflicts in which various medium and light weapons are used, resulting in the death and injury of large numbers of citizens, in addition to material losses in property.[/size]
