[size=30]The Kurdistan Regional Government accused the Federal Oil Ministry of making "threats" to oil companies operating in the region to withdraw, while noting that there was "pressure" exerted on the Federal Court.
The spokesman for the regional government, Jutiar Adel, said in a press statement, "The Iraqi Oil Ministry has threatened oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region for years, which affected oil sales, and caused its price to fall below the price of Brent crude."
"We have evidence that they sent threats to these companies to withdraw from the region," Adel said.
