The General Supervisor of Customs of Kermanshah Province, western Iran, Bakhtiar Rahmanipur, announced on Saturday that his country's exports of goods to Iraq amounted to more than one billion and 490 million US dollars through land border crossings during the past three months.
In a press statement followed by Mawazine News, "Rahmanipour" added that the share of the border crossings in the governorate from those exports amounted to more than 600 million US dollars.
During the past three months, the value of Iranian exports to Iraq increased by 43 percent, and increased by 37 percent by weight compared to the same period last year, according to the Iranian customs official.
It is noteworthy that the volume of Iraq's exports of goods to Iran through the land border port of Pervez Khan, adjacent to Kermanshah province, amounted to more than 10 million dollars during the past three months. Ended 29/R77
