    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced, on Saturday, that Iraq will propose the establishment of a joint development bank among the gathered countries.

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi announced that Iraq will propose the establishment of a joint development bank among the countries gathered at the Jeddah summit, to be devoted to joint projects.

    Al-Kazemi said in an interview with Al-Iraqiya News Channel, that "Iraq has become an important position in international politics and an influential figure among the Arab countries," noting that "Iraq will present at the Jeddah summit the establishment of a joint development bank among the assembled countries to be allocated for joint projects."

    He added, "The joint bank will create great job opportunities for Iraqi youth," noting that "Iraq is an important country in the region and will not be on the side of a particular axis."

    He continued, "We have completed the Gulf electrical connection, which is an important factor in providing cheap energy to Iraq."
