A source close to Al-Sistani's office denies issuing any position regarding the events of Al-Khadra
Shafaq News/ A source close to the Office of the Supreme Religious Reference in Najaf warned today, Friday, against circulating video clips and texts issued in earlier times with the aim of linking them to the current events that took place in the Green Zone and a number of southern provinces.
This comes in conjunction with the circulation of pages and accounts on social media, excerpted from the Friday sermon delivered by the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Ahmed Al-Safi, and it dates back to 2019.
The source told Shafak News Agency; "No statement or text was issued regarding the Green Zone crisis, which ended two days ago, after a speech by the leader of the Sadrist movement."
The source called on the media and bloggers on social networking sites to be careful and careful in transmitting the texts attributed to the reference that dates back to previous years due to the sensitivity of the stage.
