The new Kuwaiti Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, Othman Daoud Al-Daoud, expressed his country's desire to strengthen relations with the Kurdistan Region.
A statement by the President of the Kurdistan Government stated that "the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, met the new Kuwaiti Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Othman Daoud Al-Daoud."
And he indicated that "the Prime Minister congratulated the Kuwaiti Consul General on his new job, and wished him success in his duties in order to advance the friendly relations that link the Kurdistan Region with the State of Kuwait."
The Kuwaiti Consul General expressed his "happiness to begin his work in the Kurdistan Region, and expressed his country's desire to strengthen comprehensive relations between the two sides."
