The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, confirmed today, Tuesday, to assist the US Secretary of Defense, Celeste Wallander, that Iraq respects the international coalition for its support and support.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement, "Al-Araji received today, Tuesday, National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji, receiving the US Assistant Secretary of Defense, Celeste Wallander, and her accompanying delegation, in the presence of the US ambassador in Baghdad, Elena Romanowski."
He added, "The meeting witnessed a review of the partnership and cooperation relations between Iraq and the United States, and ways to enhance security and stability in the region, in a manner that serves global peace and security."

Wallander indicated, according to the statement, that "Iraq and the United States are partners in the fight against the terrorist Daesh, appreciating Iraq's role in combating terrorism and pursuing its cells," stressing that it is time.

Al-Araji stressed that "Iraq respects the international coalition for its support and support," noting that "the terrorist ISIS still poses a threat to Iraq and the region, and the international community must remain cohesive against it."
And he indicated that "Iraq needs support in the field of air power and air defenses, and that it seeks to diversify its sources of weapons."

Al-Araji praised the American position on his call to urge countries to withdraw their nationals from the al-Hol camp, stressing the need to hold these terrorists accountable, while noting that

a strong, united Iraq is a guarantee for the region and the world, and that its strength will prevent interference in its internal affairs.
