The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the investment budget will be estimated at 60 trillion dinars in the 2023 budget, while ruling out a drop in oil prices below $80.
A member of the committee, MP Jamal Cougar, said that "the prime minister will focus on the investment budget," noting that "the parliamentary discussions will not be prolonged on the 2023 budget."
He added, "Oil prices will not drop below $80," stressing that "the investment budget will be around 60 trillion dinars."
Cougar indicated that "there is talk of rotten rice in the ports of Umm Qasr," noting that "inclusion of appointments in the budget is not within the competence of Parliamentary Finance." Ended 29 / h
