Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Education Committee announced that it is discussing several files with the Ministry of Education, Ibrahim Nams Al-Jubouri, including installing lecturers and improving the rate.
The media office of Representative Mahmoud al-Qaisi said in a statement that "a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Representative Mahmoud al-Qaisi, accompanied by a number of committee members, visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and met with Minister Ibrahim Namis al-Jubouri."
He added that "the committee discussed with the minister many important issues related to the educational file in the country, foremost among which are the challenges facing teachers and students, installing lecturers, and addressing the issue of lecturers of 2020".
The office added that "the meeting touched on the issue of improving the rate, its effects on the reality and future of the student, the amendment of the external years, as well as improving the living reality of the teacher in light of the current conditions, and the need to allocate plots of land to educational staff, in addition to serious research in the file of building schools, and the obstacles that delay Establishing new educational institutions that meet the needs of large segments of students in cities and in the countryside.”
For his part, the Minister of Education expressed his "great interest in the presented files, and promised to follow them up personally, until real progress is achieved in this file, to serve the educational process and Iraqi students in all governorates."
