An informed source revealed, on Friday, the details of the arrest of businessman and director of the Middle East Bank, Ali Ghulam, based on a malicious suit, while indicating that he was released on bail.
The source said, in an interview with Mawazine News, that "Ali Ghulam's arrest came on the basis of a malicious suit from a Kurdish person named Shekar Fattah Abdullah," noting that "the latter filed a malicious lawsuit against" Ali Ghulam "despite the existence of a financial clearance since 2015 and he does not have one." No rights until he files a lawsuit."
He added, "Ali Ghulam was released on a bail of 25 million dinars, and he is ready to present all evidence before the court to prove his innocence."
