    Today, Wednesday, the Kurdistan Region Council of Ministers held its regular meeting, headed by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and in the presence of his deputy, Qubad Talabani.[/size]
    [size=45]At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister, on behalf of the Council of Ministers, thanked the government staff for their participation in the Kurdistan Parliament session, and praised the rich answers and observations they provided to the questions, interventions and comments of all Kurdistan parliamentarians. The Prime Minister also indicated that the government, in its ninth formation, has the best forms of cooperation with the Kurdistan Parliament since its formation, and added: “We will continue to do so, especially since government ministers went to the meetings of the Kurdistan Parliament and parliamentary committees more than any other government, and answered questions Parliamentarians.[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister also affirmed that the relationship between the government and Parliament must be based on mutual respect within the framework of the Parliament's internal system and the applicable laws, and to avoid any inappropriate behavior or stance that does not serve to enhance this coordination between the legislative and executive authorities.[/size]
    [size=45]In the second part of the meeting, the Minister of the Region for Parliamentary Affairs, Vala Farid, presented the new draft to amend the law of the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region related to the establishment of a General Directorate of Insurance within the Ministry of Finance to work on monitoring and following up the activities of insurance companies in the Kurdistan Region. In light of this, the Council of Ministers approved the project by a majority vote and decided to refer it to the Kurdistan Parliament for legislation.[/size]
    [size=45]In the third part of the meeting, the Minister of Education, Alan Hama Saeed, presented an analytical report on the draft law (Education in the Kurdistan Region), and reviewed the necessities about the need for the draft law and its importance to improve the education sector in the Kurdistan Region, where the draft project is scheduled to be discussed. comprehensively in future meetings of the Council of Ministers before voting on it. The Prime Minister stressed that the draft law should move the education process to a new stage and develop the physical and mental skills of children and students. He also stressed the need to keep education centers away from violence, protect and preserve the rights of teachers, and pay more attention to teacher training.[/size]
    [size=45]At the end of the meeting, the recent decision taken by the Supreme Economic Council regarding the reorganization of public income for taxes and fees, which was presented to the Council of Ministers by the Prime Minister and his deputy, was reviewed, and the ministers were directed to provide the necessary assistance and cooperation in this regard to reorganize internal public revenues and financial allocations. To provide services and implement construction and reconstruction projects, diversify sources of income and not depend on oil as a source of revenue.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Amanj Rahim presented to the Council of Ministers the most important points contained in Deloitte's recent report on auditing the oil sector, which indicated that most oil costs consume a large amount of its revenues, and pointed to the importance of continuing and strengthening the efforts of the Kurdistan Regional Government to reform This sector is in order to reorganize the costs of oil companies, transportation costs and selling prices, in order to maximize the revenues of the Kurdistan Regional Government to bridge the deficit between incoming income and spending in the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]The Minister of Health, Saman Barzanji, also presented a summary of the current situation of the epidemiological situation, supported by the necessary data and measures to contain the increase in the number of infections with the possibility of the spread of a new series of the virus, in addition to the preparations taken for any outbreak of the virus, as well as an evaluation of the vaccination process with anti-epidemic vaccines, as well as preventive measures.
