"Americana" for international restaurants: Iraq is a candidate for us to expand our activities in it

Shafaq News/ "Americana", which operates fast food brands "Kentucky Fried Chicken" and "Pizza Hut" in the Middle East, is looking forward to acquiring a larger share in the restaurant sector in the region, indicating that Iraq is a candidate to expand its activity in it.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Muhammad Al-Abbar, said in a press statement, "The size of the restaurant market in the region is about $55 billion, while our share does not exceed two billion dollars," considering that this share is "negligible," and therefore, "I see growth in this field, while keeping our eyes on on new activities.
The Chairman of the Americana Board of Directors added that his company's plan aims to open 200 to 300 stores annually, specifying Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Kuwait as main markets, in addition to Egypt, adding, "We look seriously at Iraq and Morocco" as candidate markets for the expansion of "Americana" activity.
