    Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Commerce made a new statement regarding the decision to increase the share of the food basket for poor families and those covered by social protection
    . Especially those covered by social care, the Cabinet's decision was issued, which included adding items to the food basket for the social care category.
    He added, "The addition will be one kilo of sugar, one liter of oil, 200 gm of tea, 250 gm of milk for adults, zero kilos of flour," explaining that "the addition will be for the items of the food basket received." 
    The Council of Ministers issued a decision to increase the share of the food basket for the poor, those with limited income and those covered by social protection.
    The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement that, "Based on the continuous directives of the Prime Minister to support the segment of the poor and people with limited income, and what was included in the ministerial platform to provide support to these groups, the Council of Ministers decided to add and increase the foodstuffs shown in the table below for the segment of the poor and people with limited income." And those covered by the social protection of the food basket items established under Paragraph (3) of Cabinet Resolution (60 of 2021) of the financial allocations for the Ministry of Commerce, as follows:
    - Increasing sugar to 1 kg per person
    - Increasing cooking oil to 1 liter per person
    - Addition Tea material at a rate of 200 gm for each person
    - adding milk at a rate of 250 gm for each person
    - adding zero flour at a rate of 1 kg for each individual.
