    Today, Monday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, announced the recovery of 14 billion and 500 million dinars from those who violate social protection, while indicating the exclusion of more than 900,000 families who have salaries in state ministries.

    Al-Asadi said during a press conference that "data (310,791) thousand families have been sent through the amounts allocated in the food security law in the governorates of Iraq," pointing to "the launch of subsidies for (3,818) new families within the social assistance program, and the amount will be raised in their smart cards.” in the next installment.

    He stressed, "allowing all families who did not submit an objection within the eighth batch to go to the social protection departments to file an objection."

    He pointed out that "the number of applicants for social care reached 2,734,031 million families."

    And Al-Asadi indicated that "the initial numbers of the boycott data included the exclusion of 924,526 thousand families who have salaries in state ministries and contracts."

    He continued, "The broader survey will be implemented through a sectoral survey that will focus on the poorest districts in all governorates."

    The Minister of Labor confirmed, "Increasing the ceiling of the social protection subsidy, if the country's general budget for 2023 is approved."
