, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani affirmed today, Thursday, Iraq's keenness to maintain balanced relations with brotherly Arab countries and countries in the region.
Al-Sudani's media office stated in a statement, of which Mawazine News received a copy, that "Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Iraq, Hamed bin Ahmed Aidarous, and the meeting witnessed discussions of bilateral relations between the two countries, and aspects of mutual cooperation at various levels and fields."
During the meeting, Al-Sudani affirmed "Iraq's keenness to maintain balanced relations with brotherly Arab countries and countries in the region," pointing to "the depth of relations with the Sultanate of Oman and the aspiration to develop them, in a way that enhances the interests of their peoples in development and prosperity."
For his part, the Omani ambassador conveyed "his government's greetings to the Sudanese and its desire to consolidate cooperation in the economic, commercial and tourism fields, in a way that contributes to strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries and achieving common interests."
