Shafaq News/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani announced, on Thursday, that his government has "strategic plans" to address and advance the electricity sector in the country.
His media office said, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, chaired a meeting that included the Minister of Electricity and a number of consultants and private sector investors in the electricity sector, indicating that the meeting was devoted to discussing the electricity file, and the most important strategic projects that the government intends to launch. In cooperation with the private sector, to develop the electricity system and increase the efficiency of the electric power grid, in the field of production, transmission and distribution.
