    Economy News-Baghdad
    The Central Bank announced, on Monday, the opening of a new outlet for selling dollars in cash to travelers at Baghdad International Airport.
    And a statement by the bank stated that "the Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) will start selling as of tomorrow, Tuesday, corresponding to 10/1/2023, to travelers, with a maximum of (5000) US dollars."
     He added, "The Central Bank of Iraq had earlier expanded the number of bank outlets for selling foreign currency from 20 banks to include all covered and willing banks, after the success achieved by its initiative to enhance the stability of the currency price in the local markets."
    He stressed that "the rise in the exchange rate is a temporary situation."
