Today, Wednesday, the National Investment Commission confirmed that the current year 2023 will witness a renaissance in new projects in partnership with sober international companies, while it indicated the trend to establish railways in the capital.
The head of the authority, Salar Muhammad Amin, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Investment Commission is concerned with all residential, industrial and road sectors," noting that "the focus has been on the transportation sector and its development inside Baghdad, and the establishment of railways in the capital."
Amin added, "There is great interest in the railways inside Baghdad, in addition to linking the capital with the provinces, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, to complete administrative and legal procedures to present them as investment opportunities for international companies."
He pointed out that "this year will witness a renaissance in the field of new projects in partnership with discreet international companies to transfer expertise," stressing that "all plans have been completed and are ready to be presented as an investment portfolio to international companies. "
