Dome of the world.. Baghdad restores the luster of relations and raises the “red card” in the face of Washington
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
From the outset, the current government embarked on its commitment to implement the ministerial program, which included many items. However, the most important thing on the external level is the strengthening of relations with countries that can provide service to the country, and the most important thing remains the achievement of Iraq's interests.
The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani, during the nearly 100 days of his government’s life, made seven foreign visits with the aim of enhancing cooperation in all sectors, according to the advertiser, so he moved from one country to another for the simplest goals of what is called the “mission.”
“Whoever takes refuge in Washington is bare-backed.” The government was well aware that continuing the same previous policies and remaining under the tutelage of America “will make matters worse,” which prompted it to turn to Germany for the electricity crisis, and France to consolidate international cooperation, and other countries in order to recover the looted money and prosecute the corrupt.
This time, Russia is the one who packed the luggage and headed towards the capital, Baghdad, to discuss several files and conclude bilateral deals as a kind of Russian welcome to the new government, according to observers.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Al-Sahaf announced today, Sunday, that a Russian government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Baghdad today, Sunday, on an official visit.
Al-Sahhaf told the official agency, “The visit comes in the context of affirming Iraq’s openness to all its partners and friends, and the importance of strategic relations with the Russian side in light of enhancing investment and economic attraction, especially with regard to energy files,” noting that “the two sides will discuss a number of issues and files related to the nature of bilateral relations.” And the importance of supporting and strengthening it in various sectors.
And he shows that "the delegation will be a high-ranking diplomat, economic, investment, and includes multiple oil and gas companies, in addition to companies in various sectors," explaining that "the delegation includes journalists from more than 25 Russian media organizations, which will be present in the meetings."
And he stresses that “the visit comes to discuss the most important developments at the level of the region, explore common visions and find basic approaches between Baghdad and Moscow on the most important challenges that should be worked on jointly, as well as strengthening the security and stability of the region around the most important files that need convergence in visions and positions at the regional and international levels.” ".
For his part, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, revealed the details of the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov to Baghdad, while stressing that the compass of Iraq will rotate correctly towards all countries of the world in the coming period.
Al-Baldawi mentioned in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency that "American hegemony prevented Iraq from moving against Washington, which imposed its political and economic interests," noting that "Lavrov's visit will focus on investing Iraq's capabilities at the level of the commercial, industrial and economic sectors."
And he continues, “The difficulties that Iraq has gone through in terms of political, economic and social crises are; As a result of America's absolute domination of the country," pointing out that "the government decided to open up to all countries of the world after getting rid of the restrictions imposed by America on Iraq."
Regarding Iraq's openness towards Russia, France and Germany, Al-Baldawi explains, "Iraq's compass will rotate properly towards all countries of the world in the coming period, away from America."
In addition, the political analyst, Ibrahim al-Sarraj, saw that the visits of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, to European countries, and the arrival of the Russian Foreign Minister to Baghdad are all in the interest of Iraq.
Al-Sarraj confirms, in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that "the government today has a governmental program to activate its relations and open diplomatic tracks and dialogue with all countries of the world in a way that is directed towards the interests of Iraq, and Lavrov's visit to Baghdad is part of this approach."
And he points out, “America is only capable of weak countries, but the current Iraqi government is strong and has great parliamentary representation and popular support and inside the dome of parliament, so it wants to do its foreign relations.”
And the political analyst explains, “The American hegemony must end and it will end when the government is strong,” pointing out that “the countries of the world sensed that there is seriousness on the part of the prime minister in activating joint relations.”
Getting rid of American hegemony, which did not provide anything for the Iraqi people except destruction and corruption, and heading towards a more beneficial country is considered an achievement for the government in itself, which requires a foreign government policy and clear visions to achieve interests for Iraq.
