    Today, Saturday, the Petroleum Products Company confirmed the development of a comprehensive plan to build a complete database for all governorates regarding the fuel card, while setting a date for completing the procedures.
    The director of the Petroleum Products Company, Hussein Talib, said, "The fuel card, the share of gasoline, falls within the implementation of the paragraphs of the government program of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, as the distribution company recommended automation of the distribution sector, maintenance and development of stations," stressing that "the company has developed a comprehensive plan to build a complete database." to all provinces.
    He added, "The fuel card was implemented in the governorates of Kirkuk and Nineveh, and witnessed success in the processing process," noting that "the goal of the fuel card is not to reduce quantities, but rather to determine the real consumption of citizens."
    He pointed out that "the company is proceeding with the project to complete the database for each of the governorates of Salah al-Din and Diyala during the coming period, and then the other governorates in succession in order to complete the procedures during the current year, in order to reach the processing of vehicle owners under a fuel card and according to what the vehicles need."
    In turn, the assistant director of petroleum derivatives in Salah al-Din, Adnan Ahmed Khalaf, explained that "the directorate is continuing to build a database in each district, and to take information annually from the housing and ration cards, the civil status identity, and the annual vehicle." 
    He pointed out that "the closed system in the governorates of Mosul and Kirkuk has given the governorate a great momentum in obtaining kerosene oil."
    He stated that "the directorate has made contacts with the responsible authorities in Baghdad to make the system closed in all districts of the province to obtain kerosene oil, and if approval is obtained, we will proceed with the project."
