    The head of the Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee, Hibat al-Halbousi, called on the Ministry of Oil to stop the procedures for awarding contracts for the transportation of crude oil from the Qayyarah field in Nineveh Governorate.


    And according to a document signed in the name of the head of the committee, Haibat al-Halbousi, a copy of which[url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133473/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%88%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D9%86%D9%8A%D9%88%D8%B2/ar/]Alsumaria news[/url]received, "we have received information indicating that there are suspicions of financial corruption and an illegal mechanism in the process of assigning transportation contracts (land, sea, storage) to transport the Qayyarah oil field of the North Oil Company."






    And the document adds, "Not to mention the absence of any economic feasibility study, the absence of any announcement by the company, and the price to be referred to is very exaggerated compared to the prevailing prices, and there is a waste of public money."

    The document stressed "stopping the referral procedures, not using this mechanism in the future, studying the issue in a professional and fair manner, and adopting the competition and advertising mechanism by the North Oil Company to ensure obtaining the best prices."
