Al-Sudani: Iraq's security is a guarantee for the stability of the region and the world

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani said, yesterday, Saturday, that Iraq made it clear at the Munich Conference on Security and Politics, its reading of the security situation in the region and the affirmation that Iraq's security is a guarantee for the security and stability of the region and, as a result, the entire world.
Al-Sudani added, in an interview with Al-Iraqiya News, which was followed by "Al-Sabah", that the security side took a large part in the concerns, conversations and bilateral meetings at the level of the groups in addition to the opening session of the conference, explaining that through this presence he demonstrated the possibility of our security services and their growing capabilities in combating terrorism and pursuing gangs. He stressed that today ISIS does not have a presence through which it controls an area on the ground or maintains a place, but rather it is defeated and terrified gangs pursued by our security services, pointing to the importance of cooperation and exchange of information between our security services and their counterparts in the region and the world.
He stressed the importance of having a response in recovering wanted persons and those accused of terrorism cases, noting that the important aspect is also stopping the financing of terrorist gangs. The Prime Minister promised the aforementioned that it was a message that we clarified in meetings during which we received senior officials in the security services and politicians at the level of prime ministers and ministers of several countries around the world as well as officials of international organizations, pointing out that the officials he met showed real understanding and support and agreement with the Iraqi vision in the security reading. And the political of the region, and that Iraq's message and the government's vision reached these important parties. He continued, "The government's priorities came according to an accurate diagnosis of the aspirations of the Iraqi people, such as combating poverty, creating job opportunities, eliminating unemployment, improving services, implementing projects, and combating financial and administrative corruption."
