Baghdad / Obelisk: Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani directed, on Saturday, to hold continuous meetings between federations, trade unions, and sectoral government agencies.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani chaired today the first session of the Supreme Committee for Coordination between the Council of Ministers, federations and unions, which was established according to special laws, and based on the Prime Minister’s directives during the meeting he held with federations and unions. Professional and sectoral in the month of November last year, because of the expertise it represents that supports government work.
He added, "The session witnessed discussing the mechanisms to support federations and unions to carry out their role and perform their desired tasks, in addition to discussing the topics on the agenda, which included working papers presented by a number of federations and unions heads."
During the session, the Prime Minister referred to "the government's vision of the importance of coordination with federations and unions, as they represent the shadow ministries and the backing and supportive of the government's plans in implementing its government program in the axes of reform and development, providing services and fighting corruption."
Al-Sudani directed “to hold continuous meetings between federations, trade unions, and sectoral government agencies to mature ideas related to programs and projects, with the aim of presenting the necessary ones to the Council of Ministers to take the necessary decisions in their regard.”
