Shafaq News/ The Director of Customs of the Iranian province of Kermanshah, Ali Asghar Abbaszadeh announced, on Sunday, that the value of Iranian goods and merchandise exports to Iraq from three border crossings amounted to about two and a half billion dollars during the 11 months of the Iranian year, which started from the date (21/ of the month March 2022), which expires on the same date and month of the current year.
The Iranian semi-official Mehr news agency quoted Abbaszadeh as saying that the value of goods and merchandise exports from the province's official outlets (Parvezkhan, Khosravi, and Sumar) to Iraq amounted to about two billion and 469 million dollars.
He added that the weight of those commodities and merchandise reached nearly 6 million tons, indicating that the exports consisted of steel, tiles, ceramics, building materials, vegetables, fruits, dairy and plastic materials.
The Iranian customs official also indicated that the financial value of goods and commodities exported from the Pervezkhan port to Iraq decreased to 12 percent, while the volume of exports decreased to 67 percent compared to last year.
