    Baghdad today - Baghdad
On Sunday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, described his ministry's task as "difficult", directing "the establishment of a new mechanism for the work of licensed and new companies in Iraq, as well as a work permit for each company."
A statement by the ministry, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Al-Asadi “chaired a meeting of the opinion committee that included the undersecretaries and general managers of the ministry and its departments and bodies today, during which he stressed” the resolution of all issues related to the work of the ministry during the past four months, especially with regard to evaluating the work of the undersecretaries and general managers, each according to his department. To identify failures and successes.
He pointed out, "There is a great task in fighting corruption in major companies, and it is the duty of general managers, provided that the departments evaluate every 15 days and submit a periodic report to indicate the imbalance."
Al-Asadi explained, "The ministry's task is difficult and not easy, as it is a humanitarian ministry concerned with caring for a large class of the poor," noting, "There is another task related to transgressors on the social protection network, as these must be exposed so that no one takes away the rights of the real beneficiaries."
And he indicated, "The ministry will work to cooperate with major companies to automate the ministry, as it will be the first ministries to work on automation in its departments and agencies."
The statement indicated that "during the meeting, topics on the agenda were discussed, including the government program and a discussion of amending paragraphs in the Social Protection Law pertaining to orphans, as well as a discussion of issues related to the labor and vocational training departments, retirement and social security."
