The Housing Fund granted more than 5 thousand loans during the past two months of January and February, and announced that the number of absolute loans during the past year reached 37 thousand loans.
A source in the Fund's media office said in an interview with "Al-Sabah" and followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that the number of loans granted by the Housing Fund during the past year amounted to 37,131 loans, explaining that the amount of loans amounted to more than one trillion and 600 million dinars. Loans granted by the fund during the past two months of January and February amounted to 5566 loans.
The source pointed out that the central bank grant allocated to the fund amounted to 5 trillion dinars for the period from 2016 until last year, pointing to the increase in loans granted after facilitating procedures in all its stages and the transition to electronic work, in addition to activating the breast health system electronically, which led to the elimination of The administrative routine that accompanies the process of granting loans.
