Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani discussed, on Sunday evening, with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, in several aspects related to the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to develop and develop them, for the benefit of the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed, according to the statement received by (Baghdad Today), "Iraq's balanced position and its approach that supports the language of dialogue, in order to achieve stability in the region, and support sustainable development for all brotherly and friendly peoples on the path of progress and prosperity."
For his part, Ambassador Al Sadiq conveyed, "The Iranian leadership's thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by Iraq in order to bring points of view closer, and to facilitate the efforts that led to the recent understanding between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran."
