The Basra Gas Company announced that it is proceeding with a plan that extends to 2027 to invest 91% of the gas that is currently burning, stressing that most of the flames that cover the oil production areas are on their way to extinguishing.
The assistant general manager of the company, Porta Al-Asadi, told (Baghdad Today) that "there is an ambitious plan to invest in gas, as there are strategic projects that the Ministry of Oil is carrying out with the rest of the partners, and thus the burning of gas will recede with air," noting that "what concerns us now is to proceed with the implementation of the plan and not cause any delay." implementation.”
The Sudanese Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a had announced earlier that the most important priorities of his government is to invest in gas and exploit it by operating electrical stations, as well as ending pollution.
