Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to continue military operations inside and outside the borders to eliminate terrorists.
Erdogan said in a speech broadcast by Turkish media and followed by "Baghdad Today", that "our military operations will continue inside and outside our borders until the last terrorist threat to our country and our nation is eliminated."
He added, "We will not be satisfied with defeating terrorism, but we will destroy the dirty plans of those who support them and provide them with weapons and ammunition," noting that "together we will thwart Turkey's attempts to subjugate through terrorism."
Erdogan's speech comes one day after his meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, and an emphasis on improving relations between the two countries and respecting Iraq's sovereignty.
