    The Ministry of Commerce has agreed with a number of private sector mills to operate them by producing commercial zero flour that will conform to international quality and standard specifications, which will be supplied at competitive prices to the owners of bakeries and ovens from the private sector, in addition to offering it in the local markets.
    The Director General of the Private Sector Development Department in the ministry, Muhammad Hanoun, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah", followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that his ministry intends to enter into strategic partnerships in order to develop the country's economy, in addition to providing technical and logistical facilities related to the various production and marketing operations.
    He added that the General Company for Grain Processing has agreed with a number of private sector mills to operate it by producing and marketing commercial zero flour, which will conform to international quality and standards in production, which will be supplied at competitive prices to bakeries and ovens from the private sector, in addition to offering it in the local markets. for citizens.
    In the same context, Hanoun indicated his ministry's determination to support one of the famous private bakery complexes in Baghdad, to provide bread, (samoon) and other sweets to citizens, with good quality and at reduced prices that differ from the prices of their counterparts in the local markets, noting that the project will contribute to the employment of 800 unemployed young men and women. Within the aforementioned complex, restaurants will also be opened within it.
    He stressed that his ministry aspires to generalize the support experience provided to the aforementioned bakery complex among the various regions of Baghdad and the rest of the country's governorates, pointing to his ministry's tireless efforts to invest large numbers of bakeries belonging to the General Company for Grain Processing, after taking all necessary measures, during the next few days.
