Shafaq News/ The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani considered, on Saturday, the agreement reached by Erbil and Baghdad to resume exporting the region's oil as a "big step towards a wide-ranging solution" to the disputes and outstanding issues between the two sides.
This came in a speech he delivered during the official celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the Badr Organization, whose ceremony was held in Baghdad today.

President Nechirvan Barzani said in his speech, addressing the political forces, that the time is now appropriate to reflect on the achievements that were achieved through unity in the period that preceded the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime, adding: I have accompanied the political process over the past 20 years.
He stressed that many laws have not yet been issued, which should be issued, and which guarantee the success of the new Iraq and the establishment of the federal system in it.
The President of the Kurdistan Region also indicated that "Iraq is facing many new challenges locally and regionally, so it is necessary not to leave outstanding problems in order to be able to face new problems and challenges."
He also said, "We in the Kurdistan Region will continue to support, in all its forms, the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani," describing the agreement to resume exporting Kurdistan's oil as "a big step towards a wide-ranging solution to the differences."
Barzani praised the role of the Prime Minister of the Federal Government, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, and the two government teams on both sides.
Nechirvan Barzani considered the "Iraqi solution" to the problems "the best," saying: "The Iraqi solution will succeed because we have a common matter, which is the Iraqi constitution."
