    One of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar province revealed, on Sunday, that Muthanna al-Halbousi, brother of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, had formed armed groups and purchased armored vehicles and weapons without having any official capacity for him and his forces, indicating that this force had begun to control the lands usurped by the state.

    Sheikh Ahmed Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma agency that "the brother of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi (Muthanna) owns an armed group and accompanies them when he roams in the cities of the province, although he does not have any official capacity that allows him to be accompanied by a security force armed with weapons and armored vehicles."
    Al-Dulaimi added, "The people of the province are surprised that the security leaders supervising the security file did not hold Muthanna al-Halbousi accountable, because he has a security force that provides him with continuous protection and cannot be exposed by the security controls."
    He pointed out that "Muthanna has extensive relations in Anbar that contributed to his acquisition of large areas of land and property and his violation of the prevailing laws in the province," explaining that "providing great protection for an irresponsible figure in the state is against the law, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, must take the necessary measures." Regarding the person responsible for providing strength to Al-Halbousi's brother, stressing that "a large security convoy equipped with four-wheel drive vehicles and weapons accompanies Muthanna Al-Halbousi when he roams inside the cities of Anbar." End / 12 a.m
