{Politics: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Thursday, during his meeting with the Minister of Commerce, the need to secure the ration card dues for all families.
The office of the President of the Republic said in a statement, received by {Euphrates News}: "The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Baghdad Palace, the Minister of Trade, Atheer Dawood Al-Ghurairy," noting that "during the meeting, food security in the country was discussed."
He emphasized "the need to provide foodstuffs to citizens," pointing to the importance of "securing ration card dues to all families."
The president pointed to "the necessity of strengthening stability in the prices of foodstuffs for citizens."
For his part, the Minister of Commerce gave an explanation to the President of the Republic about the progress of work in the ministry and the plans set to improve the services provided to citizens by providing the items of the ration card, and achieving stability in food prices in the country.
