    On Sunday, Minister of Transport, Razak Muhibis Al-Saadawi, discussed with the World Bank delegation a group of files, the most prominent of which is the path of development.
    A statement by the ministry stated that “Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, received a delegation from the World Bank, in the presence of members of the bank’s team at the ministry’s headquarters and the General Railway Company, where the representative of the World Bank presented to the minister, in the presence of the Director General of the General Company for Railways Younis Khaled Jawad, a briefing on support provided by the Bank's institution to the Ministry of Transport, especially railway projects and the development of institutional work in the ministry.
    The statement added that the meeting reviewed the possibility of providing support for the development path project, as the representative of the bank expressed interest in the project. He also praised the role of the Minister of Transport in preparing all the requirements for the development road project, which will represent the economic lifeline of Iraq in the future.
    The World Bank presented its future plans to support strategic and service transport projects, especially railway projects and promising projects that the Bank pledged to provide expertise and facilities for their completion.
