[rtl]Baghdad / NINA /- Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Representative Youssef Al-Kalabi, presented today, Sunday, proposals related to "the citizen's sustenance and life", during the hosting session, which was attended by the Minister of Commerce and his deputy , in addition to the general managers.
Al-Kalabi said in a statement; “The discussion with the Minister of Commerce and those concerned included files that are directly related to the citizen, especially with regard to the ration card, flour, and the ministry's share of it.”
Al-Kalabi presented solutions “regarding the inability of the Ministry of Commerce to secure the citizen's share of the ration card, and the failure of most of the previous ministers in this regard, relying on the current minister to support the proposal made by the Finance Committee to assign the ration card file to the governorates and make it within its powers.”
The solutions also included converting the items of the ration card into sums of money and handing them over to citizens, in a step aimed at supporting the living situation and making the Iraqi family in the position to choose foodstuffs and the requirements they need according to their desire.
He asked the Minister of Commerce, “to direct the silos to receive the wheat crop in Wasit, as the agricultural yield for this year was very good, but some of the silos refrained from receiving these crops.”
For his part, the Minister of Commerce expressed his support for these proposals, as he directed immediately to solve the problem of silos in Wasit Governorate. /Ends8[/rtl]
