Parliamentarian: Al-Sudani issued a directive to provide citizens with 12 hours of national electricity during the summer

A member of the Iraqi Parliament, Firas Al-Maslamawi, revealed that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, issued a directive to the Ministry of Electricity to adopt a 12-hour system for supplying national electricity during the summer, indicating that kerosene will be “free” for private generators.
Al-Maslamawi said, "We give good news to people that the prime minister issued a directive to the Ministry of Electricity related to the summer season, as he asked the minister to provide 12 hours of national electricity in all governorates."
Al-Maslamawi added, "The remaining 12 hours will be provided by private generators, for which the government will provide kerosene for free."
