    The Supreme Judicial Council affirmed, today, Sunday, during its fifth session headed by the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Faeq Zaidan, its continuation of cooperation and openness with all countries of the world.

    And the media of the judiciary stated, in a statement received by [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133473/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%88%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D9%86%D9%8A%D9%88%D8%B2/ar/]Alsumaria News[/url], that “the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/118981/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%8A/ar/]Supreme Judicial Council[/url] held its fifth session, which was held at eight o’clock in the morning on Sunday, corresponding to May 14, 2023, headed by the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Faeq Zaidan, and during the session:



    - The Council discussed the outcomes of the visit of the judicial delegation to the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/47571/%D8%AC%D9%85%D9%87%D9%88%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A5%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A7%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A5%D8%B3%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Islamic Republic of Iran[/url] and the signing of the memorandum of judicial cooperation between the two countries. The Council affirmed the continuation of cooperation and openness with all countries of the world in the same approach.

    - The Council hosted the Director General of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/1991636561/%D9%82%D8%B3%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Department of Financial[/url] and Administrative Affairs, and the building of the role of the judiciary for all courts was discussed. The Council confirmed that the design should be unified and implemented by solid companies, in line with the vision of the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/118981/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%8A/ar/]Supreme Judicial Council[/url] aimed at establishing judicial edifices befitting the status and prestige of the judiciary.

    - The Council approved the promotion of a number of judges and members of the public prosecution and the granting of judicial positions that require approval of formations in some presidencies of appeal according to the proposal submitted by the Presidency of Appeals. The transfer and assignment of a number of judges and members of the public prosecution was also approved based on the requirements of the public interest.

    - The council hosted Farah Jabbar Hashem, a teacher at the [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/2924471750/%D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%B9%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B3%D8%AA%D9%82%D8%A8%D9%84 %D8%AC%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%B9%D8%A9 %D8%A8%D8%BA%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AF/ar/]University of Baghdad[/url] / [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/4035326919/%D9%83%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%88%D9%85/ar/]College of Science[/url], to review the latest stages of the project to develop the knowledge track for judges in the field of modern scientific evidence adopted in solving the mystery of crimes.
